Ginza Koyama daily journal 2023.1.22 Kabuki and Takarazuka(They both theather plays however: Takarazuka has female performers only and Kabuki has male performers only)

It was the first time for me to participate in a double header show, Takarazuka in the daytime and Kabuki in the evening, all in one day.
Both are synonymous with Ginza, but the two are in stark contrast.
In Kabuki, where there are only male performers, the sex appeal of the female roles played by men that surpasses that of real women.
In Takarazuka, where there are only women, the coolness of male actors who play female roles doesn’t matter to real men.
My parents are of the generation who was set up at the Kabukiza.
But I’ve never heard anyone being set up in Takarazuka.
Don’t invite her to Takarazuka on a date.
She loses sight of you, the real, raw man, with her soul stolen by the stage star of the ideal man.
Between those two theaters is Ginza, Ginza Headquarters.
With these two cultures, there is Ginza culture unique to Japan.
Kabuki has its own Japanese rhythm of don-don-chin-ton-shan.
In Kabuki, the key to acting is the timing and decision.
In Takarazuka, the stage moves with the gaze of the male and female roles.
The performance at Takarazuka this time had a lively feeling with a fast tempo of stage rotation and production.
The highlights of Takarazuka’s stars used to have something in common with Kabuki, but now it’s more like an action movie.
The enchanted feeling is reduced, and the heart is pounding.
I feel like I changed from a shoujo manga to an anime.
Kabuki is also performed at the New Year’s Shinbashi Enbujo, so the atmosphere is different from the Kabukiza performance.
Both of them probably wanted to liven up the new year’s brilliance and charm.
After all, both miso soup and consommé soup were delicious.
Last night’s dinner was also a double header, and there were two banquets.
Steak at the steakhouse and tempura at the restaurant.
Just looking at it makes me feel like I’ve recharged my life force.
Watch it with the staff, talk about your impressions, empathize, and the excitement and excitement will not cool down.
Recently, I feel like the smiles of the staff have increased.
I think it’s the effect of Kabuki, Takarazuka, and the Shiki Theater Company.
Seeing the young staff having fun on stage for the first time is something that makes me happy now that I am now retired from being a self-proclaimed young master in Ginza.
I thanked him for the benefit of the manager.
I will go again.
The 40th anniversary Koyamaza New Year performance is approaching.
Please stay tuned.
