Ginza Koyama daily journal 2022.09.13 Mid-Autumn Moon

This year’s Mid-Autumn Moon is on Saturday, September 10th.

In the past, it was my daily routine to look at the night sky late at night on my way home.

For some reason, I felt like I could drink as much as I could on a full moon night.

There was a time when I walked from bar to bar chasing the moon.

I was young.

Recently, I come home while it is still bright, and when I have a snack alone, I fall asleep and wake up at about 2 o’clock.

I think that the reversal of the body clock is a symptom of early dementia, but you can only leave it to the rhythm of the nerves in the body.

Anyway, when I got home, my mind seems to be exhausted, so I closed my eyes and fell asleep listening to the news on TV.

Today is the anniversary of my father’s passing.

I offered a mountain of thin-skinned buns, sweet bean jelly, and moon cakes.

From tomorrow, I will take the hand-me-downs.

I stopped drinking and fell in love with sweets.

I used to ridicule my father who likes manju all the time.

It’s arbitrary.

For the first time in a long time, perhaps for the first time in many years, I went out to the roof of my house.

I wanted to enjoy the remnants of the mid-autumn moon, but there are clouds.

The full moon was obscured by clouds.

It looks like one of my favorite Turner landscape paintings.

I’m tired from the clear and strong opinions in the all-day online meetings.

I’ll refrain from the punishment of the moon tonight.

During the daytime, I filmed a video of the greetings at the completion ceremony and the opening ceremony for prospective employees.

I face the camera while imagining the appearance of the guests and new employees who are invisible to my eyes.

Like every year, I speaks honestly and freely about what I believes.

Then look at the moon tonight.

The vaguely full moon, which looks like British painter Turner’s style, is also exceptional.

You can hear offbeat jazz in your heart.

If you have iced tea instead of whiskey, it’s perfect.
