We continue to hold theater gatherings for Ginza employees.
I saw a musical twice in Minato Ward.
It is the same performance.
I’ve been watching most of the troupe’s performances until now, but it’s been a few years since Corona.
The first musical I saw was when I was in the second year of elementary school was Oliver by a British theater company.
My girlfriend’s mother took me there by force.
But when it started, I was caught up in the heat of the stage, and I couldn’t take my eyes off it for a moment.
I was second from the front row, and I could feel the breath and vibration of the stage.
I can still remember the scene at that time.
Even now, I can see the profile of my mother sitting next to me, intently watching the stage.
I can remember all the plays and movies I saw with my mother from when I was a child.
After that, it connects with the movie Mary Poppins and the Sound of Music.
I don’t remember exactly when I saw West Side Story.
Maybe I went to see it alone.
I remember the poster.
Television may have been the first.
The two times I went to the theater, the degree of emotion and the degree of empathy were quite different.
The view of the world changes depending on the seat.
Different actors come to mind.
The songs and dances of the actors are slightly different.
Every time, it’s natural because it’s a live performance.
At the end of this second time, all the audience gave a standing ovation and applause.
The excitement of the actor’s feelings became one with the fans.
The sense of unity between the stage and the audience is pleasant.
In theater, the raw voices of the actors’ bodies move the hearts of the audience.
Same as opera.
I feel the charm of the actor hotly.
On the other hand, cinema is a whole art.
The effect of camera angle and editing is great.
Film, by comparison, turns out to be a cool medium.
The one who is watching is objective.
I am safe.
But theater audiences are not safe.
I am taken in by the charm of the actor’s living body.
It creates a sense of unity between the theater audience and the actors.
It becomes a hot time space.
Koyama’s facilities are theaters and stages.
The audience is patients, the elderly and their families, and kindergarten children.
The actor is the person who works there, the employee, you yourself.
I’m a producer, and a theater owner.
Today, I want to draw a full house to the audience.
