I went to see Aladdin by Shiki Theater Company.
I think it’s been about 5 years since The Lion King.
I walked to the Dentsu Shiki Theater in the heat.
When I entered the theater, I realized that I like it because it’s cool and dark.
Anyway, I don’t like it when it’s hot and bright.
There are many parents and children, and it is lively with applause and laughter.
I thought that watching a video by myself could not be called theater.
Being together with like-minded fans doubles my happiness.
That’s what a musical is.
The direction of the theater company has changed considerably from the time when there was a founding leader in the early days of the company.
I think I used to deny the star system.
Group play. No stars. Military system.
The organizer and the director stood out more.
I think Takarazuka[1] is also close to that.
Even if you are the star of Takarazuka’s, you are also a member of the troupe, and there is only one star.
So, for the first time since leaving the company, they will be a free individual actor.
I don’t know which one is better, but it maybe is a good company, like a comfortable village society that Japanese people like.
When I was a student, the leader of the small theater company was like a guru.
I was physically uncomfortable, so I tried not to get close.
But anyway, the closed room space of the theater is comfortable for me.
Even if you are in a large audience, you are actually lonely in the crowd.
The soul rests the most when it is alone.
And it’s the nature of the theater manager, just like the hospital facility manager, to worry about how many seats are filled.
I am the hut owner.
I love seeing people on stage receiving applauds and bathing in the spotlight.
I applaud the actors from my seat in the dark corner.

I am a fan who applauds.
I think I should start going to the theater again.
