Ginza Koyama daily journal 2022.07.03 National stadium

In the evening, I went to see the National Stadium in Yoyogi (a place in Tokyo)

 the Olympic Stadium.

Designed by Kengo Kuma.

Koyama Group also has a nursing home designed by Kengo Kuma in Hayama (a city in Japan).

After corona, I just visited the facility for the first time in a long time and participated in a fried rice event.

Fried rice and dumplings taste different after having tasted them in the wind of Hayama.

Even in the evening, the summer heat in Tokyo is extreme. It is so humid.

There were around 60,000 what came to watch the soccer match.

Colosseum in Rome housed 40,000 so it is more than that.

I went around the facility while avoiding the crowd so as not to be taken in by the giant flow.

The structure and the atmosphere of the people are the same as a baseball field.

The idea of losing architecture suppresses self-assertion that blends into the region.

But the hugeness cannot be hidden.

Pyramid or battleship?

Its huge and great presence is amazing.

A modern monument.

This big and amazing design has been rejected by Koyama group.

Instead, we built a one-story house, a low-rise area, and a group home that look like an old folk house.

With wildflower meadows surrounding giant trees.

This is the grasslands of Koyama Group.

This is a full-scale town development effort.

Focus not only on medical care but also on childcare.

Our aim is going from a complex medical care facility to a town with a complex medical care and long-term care facility.

We are looking for a model of a kindergarten nursery center integrated educational facility.

The flag of Koyama Group a sign for the road to a new society.

Those who gather under this flag are all those who despise arrogance and invasion.

Healthcare and education are advancing sciences.

Welfare must also abandon anachronism and arrogance.

Even in nursery school, kindergarten we integrate an early childhood education.

For the future of young bearers.

For children who start their lives in the nursery care and their parents.

To connect to long-term care for the future.
